Climbing courses in southern Jutland

Look forward to an active day with families and friends at the top of the trees

The climbing courses

In HighPark Sønderjylland we have 6 courses of varying difficulty and a free fall. In addition, we have more than 20 cable cars spread over the 6 courses, so look forward to a great fun day at HighPark Sønderjylland.

White track – Level 1

Entry requirements: minimum 6 years and 120 cm.
(Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult)

There’s plenty of fun for kids here.
None of the obstacles are much more than a metre off the ground, but it can feel higher as the course is on a slope, so if you’re a bit scared of heights, just remember to look the right way.
Remember, if you’re under 10 you can’t get on the green course until you’ve completed the white course.
Adults are also very welcome on the White course.

Green lane – Level 2

Entry requirements: minimum 6 years and 120 cm.
(Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult)

We call the green course the family course, everyone can join in.
The course is for those who are not so keen on heights, or if you are a beginner.
However, you will still be challenged on your balance, courage and strength.
There are a few good swings across the gorge where you really feel the height for the first time.
It’s a fun course with plenty of challenges.
As an adult you need to start at Level 1 or 2 (white, yellow or green course)

Yellow lane – Level 2

Entry requirements: minimum 6 years and 120 cm.
(Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult)

The Yellow Course is our newest course, which opened for the first time at the start of the 2022 season.
The course is a family course like the green course, however the swings have been made longer and the course is generally higher than the green course.
You will be challenged on your balance, courage and strength.
It’s a fun course, where the different challenges match the difficulty of the green course.
As an adult, you must start at Level 1 or 2 (white, yellow or green course).

Red lane – Level 3

Entry requirements: minimum 10 years and 140 cm.
(Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult)

Now the slightly higher adventure begins.
You’ll be challenged a lot, but you don’t have to be an experienced climber to join in.
There are a couple of good long glides that give you a tickle in the stomach, and often loud noises are heard from the climbers on the final glide, where you soar over 100m along the stream at the bottom of the valley.
To get to Level 3 (red and blue course), you must have completed at least one course at Level 2 (green and yellow course).

Blue lane – Level 3

Entry requirements: minimum 10 years and 140 cm.
(Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult)

On the blue runway you really get up there.
Here too, the challenges line up and you’re once again greeted by cool glides along the way, and stunning views of the gorge.
The blue course has our highest cable cars, where you will reach a height of 25-30 metres.
To get to Level 3 (red and blue course), you must have completed at least one course at Level 2 (green and yellow course).

Black track – Level 4

Entry requirements: minimum 14 years and 150 cm.
(Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult)

The black track is the most challenging track in HighPark Sønderjylland.
The course will take your strength out of your arms and you will be challenged both physically and mentally.
If you’ve done well on the other courses and have the physical stamina, you can tackle the black course.
We promise it will be fun and pretty wild.

Free fall – NEW 2022

Admission requirements: minimum 12 years.
Take the jump from 20 m and experience the rush of free fall, after which you are safely grabbed and gently hoisted back down to earth.
Our safety system ensures that you are strapped in during the whole process, just like when you use our climbing courses.

Important information

Children under 14 MUST be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Please note that HighPark Sønderjylland is built in a “slope” area, and it may therefore be an advantage to climb by yourself if you need to supervise children.
However, this is not a requirement.

IMPORTANT – If you are a group with many children, and divide into different lanes, always remember to supervise the children adequately.
It is not possible to be present on two lanes at the same time.
If small children are left unattended, we will have to remove them from the lanes for safety reasons.

Climbing shoes are not necessary, but a good pair of climbing gloves is a must.
