What clothes should I wear?
Clothes that are easy to move in, shoes that fit your feet well and have a good sole.
People with long hair should put it up in a braid or ponytail so that it doesn’t get caught in the roller when you go on the cable cars.
For safety, you will be wearing a climbing helmet.
To avoid injury to hands and fingers, we encourage everyone to climb with gloves.
You are welcome to bring your own gloves, but they can also be purchased from us for 30 DKK per pair
What do I do if it rains?
Then just put on your rain gear.
The leaves cover well when you’re up in the trees.
Only strong storms, thunder and lightning close the trails – if that happens we’ll contact you and we’ll get you out climbing another day.
If it starts to thunder and lightning when you are here and the storm is right over the park, we will temporarily close the park and reopen the park 10 minutes after we hear the last thunderclap.
Can I bring my own food and drink?
You can use our area with table/bench set to eat.
We sell drinks in our small kiosk.
You can also grill your own food on the grills set up in the area, you just need to bring everything for the grill.
Can I buy food?
Before or after the climb there is the possibility to eat in our Pancake House.

How long can I climb?
From the start of your instruction time you have 3 hours – you can easily do all the tracks, if you have the energy, you might be able to do them more than once.
Can I take a break during the 3 hours of climbing?
Yes, you may.
Completing the courses can be physically demanding, so you may need a short break before moving on to the next course.
Note that the break time is not added to your total climbing time.
Remember to arrive at least 15 minutes before your booked time.
Can I eat, drink, go to the toilet or take a smoke break while wearing safety equipment?
No, you can’t.
If you need a break to eat, drink or smoke during the climb, you must remove your safety equipment.
Always remember to have it checked by an instructor before going back on the course.
What do I do if I am prevented from coming?
If you are unable to come at the time you have booked, please call or email us, but it must be at least 24 hours before your booked time – and we will find a new time for you.
If it’s later than 24 hours before, we’re sorry we can’t help you.
So always REMEMBER to cancel at least 24 hours before if you want to use the ticket at another time.
Unfortunately, we cannot refund your ticket.
If I’m not climbing, do I have to pay?
No you don’t, if for example you have to follow a child from the ground on the children’s track, you are welcome without payment.
If you are waiting for someone who is climbing and do not have the courage/desire, you are also welcome in HighPark Sønderjylland.
Do you accept cards as a means of payment?
Yes, we accept all major cards on site, cash and MobilePay
How long does it take?
You rent your harnesses for 3 hours from the time of instruction, and need to allow about 2.5 hours if you want to climb all of our 6 routes.
Remember to arrive 15 minutes before the booked time.
Where should I park?
You can use our parking lot at the pancake house.
If it’s already full, use the public rest area next door.
For the safety of our campers, please do not drive into the campsite.
Do I need to book an appointment in advance?
We recommend that you book in advance through our booking system.
If you also pay online, you save 25 DKK on your ticket.
Is it safe to climb trees?
Don’t worry, it’s perfectly safe if you follow the instructions you’re given before being unleashed.
You must follow the instructor’s instructions at all times.
Please print out the rulebook to sign and hand in when you show up.
Can you hold a bachelor party in HighPark Sønderjylland?
Yes, you can, just be aware that being under the influence of alcohol is not allowed in any way.
So it might be a good idea to come early in the day.
Is it possible to buy a gift voucher if I want to give the experience to a friend?
Yes, it is possible.
You can go to our shop, choose the amount of your gift card and pay with your card.
You will now receive a pdf – file, which is ready to print and give away as a gift.
When the gift card is to be used later, you book via our booking system and on the gift card there is a unique code which is entered and used as full or partial payment.
Can you buy season tickets?
Yes, you can.
You can upgrade your park day ticket after you’ve climbed and found it was just right for you, and you’d like to visit again later in the season.
When you visit with your season pass, you still need to book a place through our booking system before your visit.
Do you take escort cards?
Yes, we do.
You pay a normal fare and the companion climbs at half price.
